Parents

  1. How do I verify the qualifications of my tutor?
    School teachers and ex-school teachers who are in our pool of tutors would have had their credentials verified by our tuition-education consultant. To assure parents and students, our tutor will present a photocopy of their credentials on the first lesson.

  2. How do I request for a tutor online?
    You may fill up the Engage A Tutor Request Form or call us at (+65) 64822012.

  3. How do I request for a tutor via phone?
    Call us up at (+65) 64822012 to speak to our tuition-education consultant. We will ask you the following to enable us to find the most suitable teacher-tutor for you.

    Student details:
    - Level and subjects
    - Frequency (Once or twice a week) and duration of lesson
    - Preferred day and time for tuition
    - Any preference of tutor (Male/female)
    - Location
    - Email address and contact number

  4. What is the arrangement with regards to payment?
    At teacher-tutor tuition and education agency, we charge a one-time commission of 50% of tuition fees for each student recommended. (If there are 4 lessons in a month, we will collect the fees for 2 lessons and if there are 8 lessons a month, we collect the fees for 4 lessons.) Parents will then pay the remaining 50% o fees to the tutor for the first month. There are no additional charges imposed on parents. For subsequent months, we do not collect any commission. Parents will pay 100% of the tuition fees directly to the tutors.

Tutors

  1. How much do I have to pay for the service of teacher-tuition education agency?
    At Teacher-Tutor Tuition and Education Agency, we charge a one-time commission of 50% of tuition fees for each student recommended.   2. Do I have to pay to register with Teacher-Tutor Tuition and Education Agency?
    No, registration is free and commission will only be charged upon successful matching of a student to you.

  3. How does the matching work?
    When we receive a tutor request from parents, we will match their request based on the subject and level of tuition and their location to our database of tutors. Also, we will post the available assignment on Tuition Assignments on our website.

  4. What is expected on the first lesson?
    Do bring along your Identification Card and a copy of your certificates for verification purposes with the parents.
